Canton Farmers’ Market Season Nine Planning is Underway

It is a new year with a new grow season. If you didn’t join us as a vendor, grower or customer last year, we would love to see you this year!

This year the market will run every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from June 23, 2012 through October 20, 2012 from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

The market has a lot more to offer than just fresh, local produce. There will be live music, local artists, health checks from our sponsor Aultman Health Foundation, face painting, drum circles, organic gardening tips, massages, yoga and cooking demonstrations.

Come join your friends and neighbors, and maybe even make some new ones at the market this summer!

2012 Canton Farmers’ Market has a NEW HOME!

Canton City School District and the Downtown Canton Special Improvement District are proud to announce that the Timken High School Administrative building parking lot will be the new site for the Canton Farmers’ Market in 2012.

You can find the new location at the corner of Fourth St. NW and McKinley Ave. NW.

The new site is perfectly suited with luscious, green grass, trees and tons of parking!

Welcome to Our New Market Manager

Krista Schumacher has joined the Canton Development Partnership, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, as our new Event Manager. Krista will serve as not only our Market Manager for the Canton Farmers’ Market, but also as the Event Manager for Taste of Canton, Canton Blues Festival, Vintage Canton, Light Up Downtown and the 4th Street Concert Series.
